WHY AND HOW WE USE COOKIES
What Cookies Are And How Cookies Are Used?
Our store uses cookies to store information about your order while shopping. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. We require that you accept cookies in order for our shopping cart to work properly. If you do not have cookies "enabled" your "shopping cart" can hold only one item at a time. We also use cookies to manage our affiliate sales program.
What information does the cookie contain?
It contains only the contents of your shopping cart and nothing else. no personal information is stored or extracted to learn about you or your web use. It is our policy to use cookies only to assist in a convenient, accurate and safe manner. If you do not complete your order it will be held in your cookie for about 12 hours. This allows you to consider your purchase and come back without having to re-enter your order. After 12 hours the cookie automatically is deleted. Finally the cookie is also deleted automatically once your order is completed.

McKee Stained Glass collects the following information from completed transactions:

This information is stored on our website for a limited period of time, after which point it is stored locally in our customer database.
McKee Stained Glass utilizes both PayPal and Authorize.net as payment processors. If you chose to pay for your order online you have the option of choosing to use either PayPal or Authorize.net.
If you choose to use PayPal, your transaction details will be passed to a PayPal secure server and no credit card information will be revealed to McKee Stained Glass.
If you choose to pay directly via Credit Card, your purchase will be processed by Authorize.net, the bank through which we hold our merchant account. After you have provided your shipping information, that is passed through to a secure Authorize.net page which will collect your credit card information. Your credit card numbers are input directly into the Payment Processor's system and are never stored or entered on the McKee Stained Glass servers. We do not store your credit card information for future use.

Information collected is used solely for the purpose of completing retail transactions. You may receive information in the future regarding new products or special offers from McKee Stained Glass, but your information will not be sold or your privacy otherwise violated intentionally.
- With whom the information may be shared.
The information you provide to McKee Stained Glass is only used for the purposes of successfully completing an online retail transaction. As such, your information will be shared with the selected shipping entity (i.e. USPS, FedEx, etc) and with those financial entities through which payment is processed, if any (i.e. Authorize.net or PayPal). Your personal private information will never be sold, mined or otherwise used in a manner inconsistent with an ongoing and direct business relationship between McKee Stained Glass and you, the customer.
- What choices are available to you regarding collection, use and distribution of the information.
In addition to the information collected for the purposes of completing a commercial transaction online, visitors to McKee Stained Glass have the option of subscribing to a free electronic newsletter. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Currently, that newsletter is being hosted by CafePress.com, but that will change in the near future. At that, this privacy policy will be ammended.
- The kind of security procedures that are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under McKee Stained Glass's control.
McKee Stained Glass internet servers are protected by state of the art firewall systems to attempt to preserve the integrity and safety of any information stored on them. To further protect our customers, personally identifiable financial information is never stored on our web server. In addition, primary customer records are stored on a computer system not accessibly by the Internet.
- How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.
Inacurate information on our listserv shoud be corrected by unsubscribing the incorrect address and then creating a new subscription with the correct address.
Inaccurate customer information should be referred to McKee Stained Glass customer support through our online contact form.
